Sustainable development is an integral part of all activities at Puma. Protecting the environment, maintaining biodiversity, respecting and including communities, and prioritizing healthy and transparent governance is at the heart of all decisions.

  • We prioritize minimizing the environmental impacts of exploration.
  • We initiated an environmental baseline study in 2022 in anticipation of future developments on site.
  • We actively collaborate with the local forest management company to manage progressive harvesting activities.
  • We proactively paid $160K to the New Brunswick Government for future site rehabilitation.

  • We award contracts to local companies to maximize economic benefits.
  • We prioritize ongoing discussions and information sharing with local communities and First Nations.
  • We schedule ongoing and regular Stakeholder consultations.

  • We carefully manage Puma’s finances.
  • Our experienced management team is focused on building shareholder value.
  • We prioritize “outside-the-box” thinking – the courage to follow new approaches to minimize expenses and reduce project risk.
